History and Mission Statement

PNNI MISSION:

To provide individual-based, comprehensive medical and surgical care by experienced specialists to patients with neurological disorders.

OUR GOALS:

1. To be the best provider of specialized neurosurgical and related neurological care in Central Pennsylvania;
2. Provide seamless integration of medical and surgical patient care by means of a disease-based approach;
3. Development of integrated multidisciplinary teams of specialists and coordinated treatment approaches for specific disease processes;
4. Meet and exceed each patient’s expectations and desires regarding their treatment and outcome;
5. Educate patients, other health care providers and the community in order to prevent disease development or progression and to improve quality of life;
6. Participate in clinical research aimed at improving the health of the community and advancing the neurosciences.
